Orientation Captain

After 2 years of being an orientation leader, in Fall of 2024 I was given the position of orientation captain. The OC (orientation captain) is in charge of planning orientation, setting up and implementing orientation leader training, and overseeing orientation. The biggest struggles of this position were the last-minute obstacles that presented themselves and the quick decisions we needed to make. This position taught me a lot about deescalating situations and making effective decisions in a time crunch.
