Society of Women Engineers Conference

Every year I attend the Society of Women Engineers WE Conference where I get to meet many inspirational women that have broken through the glass ceiling in STEM -related industries and learn about how I can follow behind them.
At these conferences, I was able to practice approaching hiring managers, introducing myself and my selling points, and creating and maintaining professional relationships after the first meeting. These important skills are crucial in this society where professional networks can make or break attempts at implementing engineering solutions.
